WASD supported VAX since inception a quarter century ago (more as you read this). With the advent and imminent production release of x86-64 and loss from the platform of critical infrastructure such as OpenSSL and hobbyist licensing, it is (probably well past) time to move the codebase from a kludged 64-bit support using 32-bit longwords, to native 64 bit storage and arithmetic.

This directory contains the source and object code for all VAX-capable kits at the close of 2020, certainly sufficient to provide much of what might be required for pastime and ongoing commercial systems.

NOTE:  archives  WASD1151_EXPAT32.ZIP  and  WASD1151_EXPAT32-VAX.ZIP  has the 32 bit Expat already in place meaning it can be compiled or linked without the step described in _EXPAT201-VAX.TXT.
