Now under V9.1-A (a hardly much more blessed realm but at least not
retrograde) and still inhabiting the MacBook Pro, Intel Core i5, 2.7 GHz,
8GB.
Just ensuring the x86-64 distribution continues to build and run.
(Still) without native compilers, this involved (cross-)compiling on IA64,
then linking on the VM. I ZIPed "-V" the object files from VSM, transferred
the archive, restored and linked on the MacBook (VBox) VM.
As mentioned a couple of weeks ago, v12.0 no longer will be delayed waiting
for a Production Release x86-64 with native compilers. Not to quibble but is
an interesting use of "production release". Probably release WASD v12.0 this
November so last call for server regression testing.
Regards, Mark.
