A few weeks later than originally suggested.
OpenSSL 1.1.n is now supported, with 1.1.1 allowing deployment of TLSv1.3 - a
significant upgrade to the protocol.

TLSv1.3 is now supported by the mainstream browsers Chrome, Edge, Firefox and
Safari.
A WASD-specific 1.1.1a kit providing minimal required OpenSSL resources is
available. OpenSSL 1.1.1 no longer supports any SSL protocol version, only
TLS. Note that WASD still can be built against OpenSSL 1.0.2 and a kit is
provided for this. Kits for both version releases will be maintained until
confidence in the OpenSSL v1.1.1 stream has been established when the 1.0.2
kit will be dropped.
There also has been an emphasis on performance and reliability.
Many thanks to those folk who persevered throughout development and
field-test of this release.
