Extracting a Section to a File
You can save one or more sections, or an entire book to a text
  file for printing later.

When you extract a section to a file, Bookreader converts the
text to ASCII format. Graphics are not included. Tables are
formatted as closely as possible to the original.

Follow these steps to extract one or more sections or an entire
  book to a text file:

  1. Depending on what you plan to extract, choose the appro-
priate task from the following table.

        To Do This

        Extract the section you are
        reading

                                                Choose Print Topic... from the
                                                Topic window's File menu.
        Extract one or more sections
from the book that is open

                                                Select the section or sections
                                                in the Navigation window. Then
                                                choose Print Topic(s)... from the
                                                Navigation window's File menu.
Extract a book Select the book title in the Library
window by clicking on it. Then
                                                choose Print Book... from the
                                                Library window's File menu.

  2. In the Print dialog box, click on the Save to File button.
Bookreader supplies a default file name. To specify a dif-
ferent file name, click on the text-entry field, erase the
default name, and enter your own.

You can also append the material to an existing text file.
This feature is not available for PostScript files. Select the
Text button in the Print Format box to enable this feature.

Click on the text-entry field, erase the default name, and
enter the name of the existing file. Then click on the
        Append to Existing File button.
  3. Click on OK.

The Print dialog box also contains other fields that you may
want to use. For more information on those fields, click on
the Help button in the Print dialog box.

Because of copyright protections or other similar reasons, the
author of a document may choose to suppress the ability to
extract it to a file. If you attempt to extract information from
one of these books to a file you see the following message:
The author of this document has elected to disallow printing.
