  Search Error Messages
Sometimes a Bookreader search generates error messages.
Most errors occur when Bookreader is unable to open a
book or bookshelf. The major causes of these errors are the
  following:

  .
The user does not have the required privileges to open the
book or bookshelf. For example, this can occur when you
try to open a bookshelf file in another directory and the
owner has restricted the protections on the file.
  .
Bookreader cannot locate the book or bookshelf. For ex-
ample, this can occur when there is an erroneous entry
in the bookshelf file, or Bookreader files have been deleted
from a directory referenced by the bookshelf file.
  .
The user is not authorized to read the book because nei-
ther the product license nor the Bookbrowser license is
        loaded.
  .
The search involved books on the ConOLD disc, and
either the CDROM drive is not on line or the correct
        ConOLD disc is not mounted.

When Bookreader encounters errors during a search, it dis-
plays all the error messages in the
Search Messages Box at
  the conclusion of the search.
