SNGL

 The SNGL function converts the parameter and  returns  its  real
 equivalent.


 Syntax:

    SNGL( x )


 The parameter 'x' must be of an arithmetic type.  The  value  of
 'x'   must   not   be   too   large   to  be  represented  by  a
 single-precision number.
