Coast Capital Savings is Canada's second largest credit union, with $6.7
billion in assets, 300,000 members and 44 branches across British Columbia in
the Fraser Valley, Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island. Since 2003, the WASD
web server has been used to deliver XML SOAP-RPC banking services to
approximately 1500 internal Windows XP workstations running .NET, as well as
banking and bill payment services to customers using interactive voice response
(IVR) telephone banking.
Mark Daniel has been invaluable in helping us to set up and configure WASD
to handle our requirements for differentiated services and cluster failover,
and Mark's polite and prompt responses to our occasional questions are always
helpful and to the point. The WASD web server performance and reliability has,
of course, been phenomenal, and Coast Capital Savings has never experienced a
single instance of application downtime associated with the WASD web server. We
are greatly indebted to Mark to making this excellent product available to the
OpenVMS community, and we recommend it without reservation for enterprises
running 24x7 mission-critical applications like our own.
