LSE$HELP.HLB  —  SEARCH
  Syntax: SEARCH search_string noundo

Searches the current buffer for the specified string and positions
  the cursor at that string.

LSE ignores any occurrence of the search string that begins at the
current cursor position and displays a message if the string cannot
  be found.

If you do not specify a search string, LSE searches for the previous
search string. If there was no previous search string, LSE prompts
  you to specify a string.
