MAIL> ATTACH MAGNANI . . . <Do> Command: SPAWN MAIL MAIL> This example shows how to spawn a subprocess (MAGNANI_1) to invoke Mail and use the ATTACH command to move between Mail (MAGNANI_1) and a TPU editing session (MAGNANI). The ATTACH command allows you to transfer control between subprocesses. NOTE Always enter the SPAWN command to create a new process and the ATTACH command to connect to a process that already exists. For more information on the SPAWN and ATTACH commands, exit from Mail and enter HELP SPAWN or HELP ATTACH at the DCL prompt.
