The .BLANK command inserts exactly the number of blank lines that you specify. It is different from .SKIP, which inserts a multiple of the number of blank lines specified in the .SPACING command (see .SKIP and .SPACING). The .BLANK command does not work after a .PAGE command. Format .BLANK [[-]n] Abreviated format .B [[-]n]

n The number of blank lines you want to insert. -n Specifies that the next line will begin exactly n lines from the bottom of the current page.

If you enter .BLANK without a value, you get .BLANK 1.
