EDT/WPS Repeat
Repeats the next command or keystroke as often as you specify.
Steps:
1. Press GOLD (usually PF1) and type the number of times you
want the operation repeated. For example, to repeat the
next operation five times, press GOLD and type 5.
2. Type a command or press a key that you want repeated---
whether a typing key, such as the dash or hyphen, or a
function key, such as the Delete Word key or down arrow.
Usage notes:
o To cancel a pending repeat count---for example, if you mistakenly press
a GOLD-number sequence---use RESET (with the EDT or WPS keypad, press
GOLD-PERIOD on the keypad).
o You cannot use GOLD-number sequences to repeat the following keys:
DELETE (the <X] key)
EDT SpecIns key (GOLD-KP3)
WPS Paste keys (COMMA, GOLD-COMMA, INSERT HERE)
To repeat these keys, use the REPEAT command.
o To halt a repeating operation, press CTRL/C. However, if you are using
keystroke journaling (instead of buffer-change journaling), CTRL/C is
not recorded in the keystroke journal file. After using CTRL/C, you
should immediately exit, to save your edits. Otherwise, if the system
fails, you may not be able to recover your work. This restriction does
not apply with buffer-change journaling, which is the EVE default.
