To assign a previously defined local variable to an
  existing test or to a test that you are creating,
  perform the following steps:

  1. From the Test View, click on the test to be
     modified.

  2. Pull down the Maintenance menu.

  3. Choose the Modify menu item and the Test... submenu
     item.

  4. Click the Variables button

  5. Enter the local variable into the Variables field.

  If you are creating a test, enter the local variable
  into the Variables field.
