ERROR - The keyword OPTIONAL is not allowed  in  an  EXTERNAL  PICTURE
  declaration.   Optional  parameters  should  be used only when calling
  non-BASIC procedures.  Remove the keyword OPTIONAL from  the  EXTERNAL
  PICTURE declaration.
