The World-Wide PostScript Printing Subsystem (WWPPS) is a generic text-to-PostScript translator that converts various language characters used in an international environment to printable PostScript and submits the print job to the printer queue. The printable PostScript file contains all the required PostScript font data. This enables WWPPS to print various language characters on generic PostScript printers where no language fonts are resident. More online help is available from the WWPPS utility. To invoke WWPPS, enter the following command in response to the DCL prompt: $ RUN SYS$SYSTEM:WWPPS The utility responds with the prompt: WWPPS> After you invoke WWPPS, you can enter HELP or any of the WWPPS commands.
