%DIAL PETERS . . . %HANGUP %DIAL FENTON . . . %EXIT $ This example illustrates the difference between HANGUP and EXIT commands. At the first Phone prompt, Peters is dialed. The phone connection to Peters is terminated with the HANGUP command, but the user is still in the Phone utility. The phone connection to Fenton is terminated with the EXIT command, which causes an exit from Phone and a return to DCL command level. (Note that Ctrl/Z could have been used instead of the HANGUP command.)
